Perancangan sistem pemilihan e-voting himpunan jurusan teknologi informasi dan komputer (sipetik). Rancang SIPETIK, sistem e-voting berbasis web untuk pemilihan ketua himpunan mahasiswa IT. Tingkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, akuntabilitas dengan autentikasi ganda, rekap real-time, audit trail. Diuji 100% berhasil.

Abstract

Pemilihan Ketua Himpunan Mahasiswa merupakan bagian penting dari praktik demokrasi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Namun, proses pemilihan yang dilakukan secara manual masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, minimnya partisipasi, potensi kecurangan, dan kurangnya dokumentasi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan Sistem Pemilihan E-Voting Himpunan Jurusan Teknologi Informasi dan Komputer (SIPETIK) berbasis web sebagai solusi digital untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas proses pemilihan. Metode pengembangan menggunakan pendekatan Waterfall dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. SIPETIK menerapkan autentikasi ganda berbasis NIM dan token unik, proses voting online satu kali pilih, rekapitulasi suara real-time, serta pencatatan aktivitas melalui audit trail. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel dan Bootstrap 5 dengan database MySQL. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian fungsional menggunakan metode Black Box terhadap 15 skenario utama, sistem menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan 100%, waktu respons rata-rata 1–2 detik, serta mampu menangani lebih dari 150 pengguna simultan secara stabil. Mekanisme keamanan multilayer menggunakan enkripsi AES-256 terbukti menjaga kerahasiaan dan integritas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIPETIK layak diterapkan sebagai solusi e-voting dalam lingkungan kemahasiswaan dan berpotensi dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk mendukung tata kelola organisasi mahasiswa yang lebih digital, partisipatif, dan transparan
