Introduction

Sosialisasi pemahaman dan pencegahan kekerasan berbasis gender online dalam upaya membentuk kesadaran hukum pada generasi z. Tingkatkan kesadaran hukum Generasi Z tentang KBGO. Sosialisasi ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman jenis kekerasan online, pencegahan, dan aspek hukum.

Abstract

Generasi Z merupakan kelompok yang paling rentan terhadap Kekerasan Berbasis Gender Online (KBGO), dengan kasus yang terus meningkat setiap tahun. Sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan pada 15 November 2024 melalui Zoom, diikuti oleh 38 peserta. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang KBGO, mencakup jenis kekerasan, strategi pencegahan, dan aspek hukum yang relevan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan materi, diskusi interaktif, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta, dengan skor rata-rata naik dari 78,63 menjadi 93,84. Dengan demikian, program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum Generasi Z terkait pencegahan KBGO.

This paper addresses a highly pertinent and timely issue: online gender-based violence (KBGO) affecting Generation Z, a demographic identified as particularly vulnerable. The authors' initiative to conduct a socialization program aimed at enhancing understanding and legal awareness regarding KBGO is commendable and crucial given the escalating nature of such cases. The abstract clearly outlines the program's objective, which is to foster legal consciousness among Gen Z through a remote educational intervention focusing on prevention strategies and relevant legal aspects. A significant strength of this intervention lies in its structured approach, encompassing preparation, material delivery, and interactive discussion. The quantitative evaluation method, utilizing pre-test and post-test scores, provides clear and immediate evidence of the program's impact on knowledge acquisition. The reported substantial increase in average scores, from 78.63 to 93.84, compellingly demonstrates an enhanced understanding among participants regarding KBGO types, prevention, and relevant legal frameworks. This robust improvement directly supports the conclusion that the program was effective in elevating legal awareness concerning KBGO prevention among the target group. While the immediate positive impact on participant understanding is evident, the abstract, by its nature, offers limited insight into potential broader implications or the depth of "legal awareness" beyond knowledge acquisition. Future studies could benefit from exploring the long-term retention of this understanding and, more importantly, its translation into observable behavioral changes or proactive legal engagement. Expanding the participant pool beyond 38 individuals and incorporating qualitative data, such as participant feedback on perceived self-efficacy in preventing or addressing KBGO, would further strengthen the findings. Despite these considerations, this initiative represents a valuable and well-executed step towards empowering Generation Z against online gender-based violence.
