Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu kegiatan pemboran yang berfungsi untuk mencegah permasalahan pemboran berupa permasalahan pipa terjepit, hilang sirkulasi, semburan liar, dan keruntuhan dinding sumur adalah kegiatan pemasangan casing. Pada paper ini akan ditinjau mengenai perencanaan casing pada sumur “X-33” khususnya pada sectionIntermediate I 13,375” dan Intermediate II 9,625” untuk mengetahui apakah rangkaian casing tersebut sudah merupakan pilihan yang paling efektif dan efesien.Metoda yang digunakan pada desain casing, diawali dengan penentuan titik kedalaman casing menggunakanmetode top down method. Pada top down method akan dilakukan perhitungan mengenai tekanan formasi, tekanan lumpur pemboran yang digunakan dan juga tekanan rekah formasi yang akan di tembus pada saat melakukan pemboran, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan dilakukan dengan pemilihan casing dengan menggunakan metoda maximum load terhadap grade casing yang digunakan pada sumur “X-33”.Perhitungan yang digunakan dalam evaluasi ini adalah metode Maximum Load untuk menghitung beban burst,collapse, tension, dan biaxial dengan menggunakan korelasi yang ada pada tekanan-tekanan tersebut maka dapatdi lakukan pemilihan grade casing yang akan digunakan pada sumur pemboran tersebut dan kemudian dari korelasi itu juga akan dilakukan evaluasi terhadap casing yang paling efektif dan efisien.Pada perencanaan desain casing yang dilakukan pada sumur X-33 didapatkan grade casing yang paling efektifdan efisien diantaranya pada casing 9 5/8” digunakan grade S-95; 53,5 ppf, pada casing 13 3/8 digunakan grade S-95; 68 ppf.Kata kunci : maximum load, grade casing, top down method
