This study aims to determine the effect of occupational health and ISO 9001 production SOP on the quality of work of employees in a rubber company. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research was condcted with the unit analysis of Rubber Companies, with a population of 41 people. The sampling method used is Non-Probability sampling, with a saturated sample type, sampling with a total of 41 respondents, with a questionnaire data collection technique. Data processing method using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study concluded that there is a significant effect of occupational health on employee work quality, there is a significant effect of ISO 9001 production SOP on employee work quality, and there is a significant simultaneous influence between occupational health variables and ISO 9001 production SOP on employee work quality.
This study addresses a pertinent topic by investigating the impact of occupational health and ISO 9001 production SOPs on employee work quality within a specific industrial context, a rubber company. The research clearly states its objective to quantify these relationships, employing a quantitative approach using survey data. The choice of a multiple linear regression analysis for data processing is appropriate for determining the individual and combined effects of the independent variables on the dependent variable, providing a structured framework for analyzing the proposed hypotheses. The findings present clear and significant conclusions: both occupational health and ISO 9001 production SOPs individually exert a positive influence on employee work quality, and their simultaneous presence also significantly contributes to better work quality. These results offer actionable insights for managers in the rubber industry, underscoring the importance of investing in robust occupational health programs and ensuring strict adherence to quality management systems. The study effectively demonstrates how these operational and human resource factors are not merely regulatory requirements but direct drivers of employee performance and, by extension, organizational quality. Despite its clear findings, the study's generalizability is somewhat constrained by its specific methodology. The research was conducted as a case study within a single rubber company, utilizing a saturated sample of 41 employees. While this ensures complete coverage of the chosen population, the small sample size and single-company focus limit the external validity of the conclusions to other companies or industries. Future research could benefit from expanding the sample to include multiple organizations and a larger number of respondents to enhance the robustness and applicability of the findings. Additionally, incorporating objective performance measures alongside self-reported questionnaire data could provide a more comprehensive and triangulated understanding of employee work quality.
