Keberadaan manusia dari masa ke masa dipengaruhi oleh permasalahan perang dan konflik global yang mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap stabilitas, kehidupan sosial manusia, perekonomian, dan kesehatan. Permasalahan ini sudah menjadi urgensi global karena seiring berjalannya waktu perkembangan senjata modern juga semakin meningkat yang dapat mengancam peradaban dunia. Sebagai masyarakat global yang terkena dampak langsung dan tidak langsung dari permasalahan ini, memiliki peran dalam menjaga perdamaian dunia. Sebab inilah cita-cita Kristus bagi manusia dalam mewujudkan perdamaian dunia dan menegakkan kebenaran-Nya di dunia. Untuk mencapai tujuan-Nya, pendidikan Kristen merupakan lembaga yang paling berpengaruh dalam mendidik dan mengembangkan peserta didik untuk mewujudkan peran dan tanggung jawabnya sebagai umat beriman di tengah realitas dunia yang kompleks dan tidak stabil. Oleh karena itu, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki urgensi pendidikan Kristen dalam mengajar dan membimbing siswa untuk memahami panggilan dan perannya di dunia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian tinjauan pustaka dengan cara mengumpulkan, mengevaluasi, dan menganalisis sumber-sumber yang relevan sesuai dengan bidang penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Kristen berperan penting dalam membentuk pemahaman siswa terhadap isu perang dan konflik global. Pendidikan mengenai isu-isu ini dapat membantu siswa memahami secara kritis konflik global, dampaknya, dan upaya untuk memajukan perdamaian dan menegakkan kebenaran Tuhan.
