Abstract

Latar belakang. Penggunaan pupuk kimia mempunyai dampak positif dan negative. Dampak negative dari penggunaan pupuk kimia adalah terjadinya pengerasan tanah, pemusnahan mikroorganisme, pencemaran air, dan memicu gangguan kesehatan, oleh karena itu masyarakat perlu diberikan pemahaman dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik yang ramah terhadap lingkungan juga aman untuk kesehatan. Metode. Bentuk kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik cair. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 22 September 2022, Pukul 08.00 – 12.00 WIB di Desa Gurudug Kec. Pondoksalam, Kab. Purwakarta Hasil. Sebanyak 94,12% responden menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa materi pelatihan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan 82,35% menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa materi pelatihan ini bermanfaat dan masyarakat merasa puas terhadap pelatihan yang diberikan. Simpulan. Pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik cair pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bermanfaat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di daerah sasaran.
