Review

This research, titled "STRATEGIS AUSTRALIA DALAM KERJA SAMA REGIONAL ASIA PASIFIK," presents a timely and pertinent analysis of Australia's strategic engagement in fostering and strengthening regional cooperation across the Asia Pacific. The abstract clearly articulates the study's objective: to examine Australia's significant political, economic, and security interests, driven by its unique position as a developed nation geographically proximate to Asia. Employing a qualitative methodology based on a comprehensive literature review, the research appropriately draws upon foreign policy documents, international organization reports, and academic articles, providing a robust framework for understanding Australia's multifaceted role. The findings eloquently demonstrate Australia's proactive participation in key regional forums such as the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), East Asia Summit (EAS), and APEC. The study effectively highlights Australia's strategic contributions, which span support for regional security stability, enhancement of economic cooperation, and the promotion of inclusive multilateral diplomacy. A particularly compelling insight is the observation of Australia's delicate balancing act between major global powers like the United States and China, a strategy designed to safeguard its influence and interests within the region. The central conclusion posits Australia as a critical "bridge" between the Western world and Asia, asserting its substantial impact on regional stability and progress. In conclusion, this paper offers a valuable contribution to the discourse on Australia's foreign policy and its strategic significance within the Asia Pacific. By effectively outlining Australia's active role and the drivers behind its engagement, the research provides a solid foundation for understanding regional dynamics. While the study adeptly identifies the scope of Australia's involvement, future work might consider delving into the specific challenges Australia encounters in its balancing act or the measurable impact of its various initiatives. Nevertheless, this work successfully underscores Australia's indispensable role in the regional architecture, making it a valuable resource for academics, policymakers, and observers of Indo-Pacific relations.
