Abstract

En un marco de censura y control, consolidado y mantenido por la dictadura de Primo de Rivera, el año 1927 fue un punto de inflexión y transformación de los medios de comunicación escritos, así como del lento despertar de una intelectualidad de pluma y de palabra comprometida que, al contacto con la política y la actualidad de la opinión pública, eclosionó en una sólida oposición, la cual fue la base fundamental para la posterior alternativa política republicana. En este estudio, abordamos el caso de la ciudad de Málaga entre 1927 y 1931, concretamente la labor de oposición y lucha antidictatorial protagonizada por la tribuna de la decana Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de Málaga.
