Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi munculnya permasalahan di masyarakat tentang kekerasan yang terjadi baik di kalangan anak-anak maupun remaja. Penggunaan gawai pada anak tanpa pendampingan orang tua berakibat anak akan mengakses permainan atau tayangan berindikasi pornografi maupun kurang pantas lainnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang cara mengelola jadwal bermain gawai pada anak dan penguatan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam keluarga sebagai upaya mencegah kekerasan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari lima tahapan, yakni sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka efektivitas program Selancar Gawai terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan mitra tentang pengelolaan dan monitoring jadwal anak dalam bermain gawai serta nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebesar 0,83 termasuk ke dalam kategori tinggi. pencapaian peningkatan pengetahuan mitra sasaran tentang pengelolaan dan monitoring jadwal anak dalam bermain gawai dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal sebesar 87,5%.

While the program's success in significantly increasing knowledge among its participants is commendable and speaks to the immediate effectiveness of the intervention, it is important to critically consider the scope of its measured impact. The study effectively demonstrates enhanced knowledge as a preventative step, which is a crucial foundation. However, to fully substantiate the claim of being a "preventative effort against violence," future research or extended reporting could explore the direct correlation between this increased knowledge and actual behavioral changes in children's gadget use, a reduction in exposure to harmful content, and ultimately, a decrease in violent incidents. Further elaboration on the nature of "technology implementation" within the program would also enrich understanding of the intervention's practical application and scalability.
