Abstract

Bencana banjir lahar dingin yang terjadi di Gunung Merapi berakibat buruk terhadap infrastruktur tak terkecuali aset PDAM Tirta Sembada yaitu pipa. Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat bahaya banjir lahar dingin di Kecamatan Pakem dan Kecamatan Turi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengumpulan dan analisis data spasial berupa data bahaya banjir lahar dingin sehingga didapatkan gambaran wilayah-wilayah yang rentan terhadap banjir lahar dingin. Dilakukan klasifikasi tingkat kondisi jaringan pipa PDAM dan mata air terhadap bahaya banjir lahar dingin. Kondisi tersebut perlu upaya untuk meminimalisasi dampak bencana lahar dingin dengan menganalisis data peta bahaya menggunakan sistem informasi geografis terhadap zonasi berdasarkan kejadian banjir lahar dingin di Kabupaten Sleman. Hasil klasifikasi kelas zonasi bahaya banjir lahar dingin dibagi menjadi tiga kategori kelas yaitu kelas rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Hasil analisis klasifikasi tingkat kondisi mata air dan pipa PDAM Tirta Sembada yaitu baik, sedang, dan buruk. Data tersebut memungkinkan pemetaan hubungan sumber air dan infrastruktur penting seperti pasokan air minum. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan pipa dengan kondisi buruk sepanjang 51.275,98 m dan didapatkan 6 mata air dalam kondisi buruk. Sedangkan hasil analisis tentang bahaya banjir lahar dingin terhadap mata air dan jaringan pipa terdapat 2 mata air dalam kondisi tidak aman serta 48 ruas pipa dalam kondisi tidak aman.
