Abstract

El Proyecto Minero Las Bambas esperó más de un siglo desde su descubrimiento en hacerse realidad; Este artículo tiene como objetivo documentar las lecciones aprendidas del proceso de promoción de la inversión privada en el Proyecto minero Las Bambas; como metodología se basa en la revisión documentaria del Libro Blanco del Proceso de Privatización de Las Bambas publicado por PROINVERSIÓN; y como resultado, se describe los principales hitos de la reversión del Conflicto Social y el desarrollo de este proyecto minero (2004-2015); dando lugar a conclusiones y recomendaciones donde es posible revertir un conflicto social y hacer realidad proyectos mineros cuando hay una voluntad política y participación proactiva del estado, la confianza y apuesta del inversionista y los actores involucrados
