This abstract presents a compelling and highly relevant initiative concerning the development of green areas as a strategic pathway toward achieving a sustainable campus. The project's core focus on balancing infrastructure with environmental preservation, specifically through the enhancement of green spaces, is fundamental to contemporary sustainability efforts and aligns directly with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The clear objective to improve environmental quality and the well-being of the academic community at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bima is well articulated, suggesting a practical and impactful endeavor. The methodology, which includes socialization, tree planting, and sustainable management of green spaces, appears appropriate for a community-based engagement and practical implementation project. The reported outcomes are very positive, highlighting ecological, aesthetic, and direct contributions to SDGs. Importantly, the abstract emphasizes a significant increase in awareness and participation among the academic community, which is a crucial indicator of success for any sustainability initiative striving for long-term cultural and behavioral change. This hands-on approach provides a valuable example of how targeted interventions can cultivate environmental stewardship within a university setting. While the abstract provides a strong overview of a valuable project, a full paper would benefit from further elaboration on specific aspects to enhance its academic contribution and replicability. Detailing the metrics used to determine the "significant increase" in awareness and involvement, and providing concrete examples of the "sustainable management" practices implemented, would add depth. Quantifying the ecological and aesthetic benefits, where possible, would further strengthen the findings. Nevertheless, this initiative represents a strategic and commendable step towards fostering a sustainable and environmentally friendly campus, offering valuable lessons for other institutions embarking on similar journeys.
