Entre as margens e as dÉcadas. Aprofunde-se na análise da HQ "O Essencial de Perigosas Sapatas" e a representação de personagens lésbicas. Explore a evolução dos quadrinhos, gênero e sexualidade.

Abstract

As histórias em quadrinhos, que ganharam destaque no início do século XX, atingiram seu apogeu por volta de 1940, período conhecido como a Era de Ouro dos quadrinhos norte-americanos. O reconhecimento dos quadrinhos underground ocorreu com a publicação da revista Zap Comix, criada por Robert Crumb. O percurso histórico das HQs, portanto, esteve marcado por processos de marginalização, nos quais surgiram os primeiros coletivos femininos, além das narrativas gráficas que conquistaram relevância acadêmica e literária com obras que exploram temas fracturantes, relatos autobiográficos e processos de amadurecimento. Nesse contexto, este trabalho tem como objeto de análise a HQ O Essencial de Perigosas Sapatas (2021) e a finalidade de analisar a representação das personagens lésbicas Mo e Lois. A fundamentação teórica abrange os conceitos de narrativa gráfica (Eisner, 2005) e o percurso histórico das HQs (García, 2012). Quanto ao estudo temático, é centrado no continuum lésbico e existência lésbica (Rich, 2010) e quadrinhos lésbicos (Bauer, 2015). Através da leitura interpretativa, compreendemos a trajetória de evolução das personagens e destacamos suas singularidades enquanto mulheres lésbicas, em que alguns estereótipos se confirmam e outros são rompidos. Para tanto, as discussões realizadas podem contribuir para ampliar o debate sobre quadrinhos, gênero e sexualidade.
