Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of innovation and creativity in developing business products within the school environment from the perspective of Islamic Education. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research examines how Islamic values such as honesty, trustworthiness (amanah), and justice can be integrated into the entrepreneurial process in schools and their impact on students’ character and skills. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis of entrepreneurship programs implemented in several schools. The results show that applying Islamic principles in entrepreneurial activities not only enhances the quality of students’ business products but also plays a crucial role in shaping students’ integrity and responsibility. Moreover, students’ creativity and innovation in developing products that benefit the community significantly improved. These findings emphasize that integrating Islamic education and entrepreneurship within the school context not only boosts intellectual abilities but also cultivates a generation of young people with strong character, ethical values, and high competitiveness to face future challenges.

Review

This study presents a compelling exploration into the integration of Islamic education with entrepreneurial innovation and creativity within a school setting, offering a unique perspective on character development alongside business acumen. The research effectively leverages a qualitative descriptive approach, employing direct observation, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and document analysis to gather rich, contextual data. The abstract clearly articulates the study's aim to analyze the application of innovation and creativity in developing business products, specifically through the lens of Islamic values such as honesty, trustworthiness (amanah), and justice. This holistic approach promises to deliver significant insights into how ethical frameworks can enhance both product quality and student integrity, making a valuable contribution to the fields of education and entrepreneurship. The reported findings underscore the multifaceted benefits of embedding Islamic principles within entrepreneurial activities. The study highlights that such integration not only elevates the quality of business products developed by students but also plays a crucial role in cultivating their integrity and responsibility. Furthermore, it suggests a marked improvement in students' creativity and their capacity for developing products that genuinely benefit the community. These outcomes are particularly salient, emphasizing the potential for educational models that foster intellectual abilities concurrently with strong ethical values. The research thus points towards the cultivation of a generation of young individuals who are not only competitive in the marketplace but also grounded in moral principles, adequately prepared to address future challenges responsibly. While the abstract provides a strong foundation, the full paper would benefit from a deeper elaboration on several aspects. For instance, more specific details regarding the "several schools" involved, such as their type, location, or student demographics, would enhance the generalizability and context of the findings. Additionally, while Islamic principles are mentioned, a more explicit discussion on the pedagogical strategies or specific mechanisms used to integrate these values into entrepreneurial curricula would be invaluable for educators seeking to replicate or adapt these programs. Finally, an exploration of any challenges encountered during the implementation of these programs, alongside the successful outcomes, would provide a more comprehensive and realistic overview of this innovative educational model.
