Abstract

Strobilomyces merupakan kelompok boletoid yang unik karena memiliki sisik pada bagian atas tudungnya. Jamur ini merupakan genus kecil dari famili Boletaceae dan telah dilaporkan dari berbagai tempat di seluruh dunia. Namun informasi mengenai distribusi Strobilomyces di Indonesia masih sangat sedikit. Hanya ditemukan 3 laporan mengenai Strobilomyces hingga saat ini yakni pada tahun 1951, 1960 dan 2016 dari Kebun Raya Cibodas (Jawa Barat) dan Lembah Anai (Sumatera Barat) secara berurutan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi, membuat deskripsi, dan mendokumentasikan keberadaan Strobilomyces dari daerah lain di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2018 di Bukit Peramun Pulau Belitong. Hasil identifikasi berdasarkan karakter makroskopik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat satu jenis Strobilomyces sect. Strobilomyces yang memiliki karakter berbeda dengan 3 jenis yang telah dilaporkan sebelumnya pada penelitian ini dan berpotensi menjadi spesies baru dari Indonesia. Pendekatan molekuler yang dilengkapi dengan data observasi mikroskopik perlu dilakukan untuk mengkonfirmasi posisi taksonomi dari jamur yang ditemukan pada penelitian selanjutnya. Informasi dari penelitian ini menambah catatan Strobilomyces di Indonesia.

While the definitive taxonomic status of the discovered specimen awaits further molecular and detailed microscopic confirmation, the initial findings highlight the rich yet understudied fungal diversity within Indonesia. This paper not only expands our knowledge of *Strobilomyces* distribution but also serves as a strong impetus for more intensive and integrated mycological surveys across the Indonesian archipelago, paving the way for future comprehensive taxonomic and phylogenetic research.
