Abstract

Bangunan Graha Utama Akademi Militer (Akmil) merupakan fasilitas strategis yang diresmikan pada Januari 2024 dengan fungsi ganda sebagai kantor pimpinan dan ruang seremonial militer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek struktural dan arsitektural bangunan tersebut serta bagaimana keduanya berintegrasi mendukung fungsi militer modern. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen, observasi visual, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Graha Utama mengimplementasikan sistem rangka beton bertulang yang dirancang tahan gempa untuk memastikan stabilitas dan keamanan. Secara arsitektural, gedung ini menggabungkan estetika kontemporer dengan prinsip simetri dan formalitas militer. Integrasi struktural-arsitektural terlihat pada penggunaan sistem grid yang efisien dan eksposur elemen struktur sebagai karakter visual. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa bangunan ini berhasil memadukan kekakuan teknis militer dengan nilai humanis melalui desain ergonomis dan penggunaan material berkualitas tinggi.
