The submitted manuscript, "Analisis Faktor Penyebab Pelanggaran Overdimesion Overloading (ODOL) Pada Moda Angkutan Barang," addresses a highly pertinent and critical issue within Indonesia's freight transportation sector: Overdimension and Overloading (ODOL) violations. The paper effectively frames ODOL as a significant contributor to infrastructure degradation, increased accident risk, and substantial economic losses. Utilizing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on data from 300 respondents across UPPKB Datae and Maccopa, the study sets out to analyze the role of weighbridges in mitigating ODOL and to explore the influence of various stakeholders—drivers, law enforcement, business owners, and technology—on legal awareness and compliance. The research yields several noteworthy findings that contribute to understanding the complexities of ODOL violations. Crucially, the study identifies legal awareness as a significant mediating factor between external elements and the occurrence of ODOL violations. This highlights the importance of internalizing regulations rather than solely relying on external pressures. Furthermore, the positive influence of driver behavior and supporting technology on legal awareness is a key insight, suggesting that initiatives targeting driver responsibility and technological advancements can be effective levers for change. Conversely, the finding that law enforcement officers and business owners do not significantly influence legal awareness is particularly intriguing and warrants further discussion, as it challenges conventional assumptions about the direct impact of regulatory oversight and economic incentives. Overall, this study provides valuable empirical evidence and a nuanced perspective on curbing ODOL violations, particularly through its emphasis on legal awareness and specific influencing factors. The application of SEM-PLS is appropriate for disentangling these complex relationships. A notable strength lies in pinpointing driver education and integrated monitoring technology as strategic priorities, offering practical recommendations for improving compliance and transportation safety. While the abstract presents robust findings, future research could delve deeper into *why* the influence of law enforcement and business owners was found to be insignificant, perhaps exploring indirect pathways or contextual factors not captured. Additionally, comparative studies with different regions or qualitative investigations into the perception of these "insignificant" factors could provide further depth to this important issue.
